The Slice #32
from your friendly, neighborhood pizza joint

What's up pizza people?!? This is The Slice, the newsletter with more heat than a Randy Johnson fastball. This week, we're talkin' baseball baby! Oil up those mitts and fire up those grills, cuz it's about to be peak season for America's pastime!
BREW CREW RULES
Brewers games freaking RULE. It all starts with the down-ass parties in the parking lot - tailgating also RULES. We're talking mini grills by the hundreds and Miller Lites by the thousands. Make sure you slather on that suntan lotion, lest you get cooked by the midday sun on the blazing asphalt. Once you get into the game, the culinary options are almost overwhelming (especially after few parking lot brews). We're talking custard in a mini helmet, those Minute Maid frozen cups, the intoxicating fragrance of roasted nuts, and the ultimate ballgame staple - hot dogs. One of our favorite food items at Miller Park (it will always be Miller Park to us) are the Bratchos. Next week, we're whipping up our own take on our favorite ballpark snack - kettle chips, brat slices, house kraut, pickled pepper relish, beer cheese, crispy jalapenos, and pickled mustard seed! Get you some!

WADE-ING IN TOO DEEP
When your home team is literally called the Brewers, you gotta be passionate about your beer - just check our taplist to see what we mean. But as much as we love our suds (and the team named after them), we can't hold a candle to the man, the myth, the legend, Wade Boggs. Not only was our guy a Hall of Fame third baseman, but he could put away cold foamers with the best of 'em. If you're a fan of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, you're aware that he once drank between 50 and 70 beers on a cross-country flight, but the real number was even higher: 107 BEERS. BIG IF TRUE. That is an absurd, absolutely mind-numbing figure, especially for a pro athlete. How many could you put away?
OPEN SESAME
We're so thankful for all of you who have stopped in to check out Flourchild in person over the last year, and we've got some awesome news to share: we're expanding our hours! Starting next week, we'll be open for dinner service on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well! That gives you six days a week (Tue-Sun) to get your Flourchild fix! We can't wait to see you - snag a rez now!

Midweek munchies? We got you!
