What's up pizza people?!? This is The Slice, and now that we’re at the point of the summer when it’s truly HOT (and not in a cute, early July kind of way, but that all-encompassing soupy August air kind of way), we’re talking slushees!
SLUSH FUND
As we just mentioned, it is HOT out there. There are plenty of ways to cool down (if you’re like us, you can be found hiding in the walk-in cooler from time to time), but we’re talking about one of the most fun - BOOZY SLUSHEES. We’ve serving up a couple of bangers at Flourchild.
First up is our Henny Colada. Based a summertime staple from City Island in The Bronx, this tropical concoction is so good that we may have to keep it on year-round! Imbibe carefully though, because this thing is as stronger than Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 70s.
Next up is The Pink Panther. This one may seem unassuming at first, but much like its namesake, it’s just a little mischievous. We’re starting with a base of Pink Whitney Pink Lemonade Vodka, throwing in plenty of refreshing lemonade and a little lemon-lime soda, and capping it off with a touch of Aperol for depth and a lightly bitter finish. Come on by and try both this week!
